Passions!

          As I always start my first sentence, painting is one of my passions too. Since I was little I always liked to paint like every single kid.  I continued painting as I grow up and I became better. I wouldn’t say that my drawings are amazing because I think they are not and obviously there are better people them me. I’m just like all the other kids and I don’t go to art classes or things like that.  I just draw when I don’t have anything else to do or when I really want to do it. However, most of the time, I draw with pencil, not with paints. Moving on, this year in literature class we read a book called “Lord of the Flies”. It was a very interesting book and after reading it the teacher assigned us a project. The project was about painting a shirt that symbolizes things from the book and finding quotes that represented symbolism and combined them with the pictures we drew. I was really happy. I was going to do a project about something that I really like to do. I was really excited about drawing a shirt and I started to plan everything ahead.  When we started drawing I was really happy because it was something that I liked to do and it was something different from what we do in class every day. At the end Ii was really happy with the outcome of my shirt, but after seeing the shirts of my friends, I was embarrassed because some of them were so cool.  However, I was happy with my shirt and proud of it, even though it was not amazing as some of the other shirts. On the contrary, I really like to draw and I hope to become better and better, in other words to improve and continue drawing.

        I think that writing about photography might be one of the hardest things to write about. It is one of my passions too. I think is really hard to write about it because I can’t explain what I feel when I take pictures, is just an unexplainable feeling. When I take a picture of a sunset or the nature and then look at the picture, I just don’t have words to explain how beautiful it is. I realized all the amazing things that we have in our surroundings, what the world is giving us and  never have time to appreciate or to see how it is. Also, I stop and think about all the blind people, I just can’t imagine life without being able to see all these incredible things. I can’t imagine life without being able to see colors and all the nature and people, is just that it would all change. However, taking photos makes me feel really happy because when I take a really good picture, I am just so proud of myself that makes me feel happy. Besides, taking pictures also helps me to save a memory and to admire something that I might never see again because you never know if you are going to be able to be there and see the same thing again. On the other hand, another thing that I like about taking pictures is to capture random things, candid pictures, without the people posing, natural pictures. In my opinion candid pictures are better because you can catch an emotion and if they are posing, they might be smiling at the camera, but you don’t really know if they are happy or not because they might be just pretending. Moving on, other things that I like about pictures is to put different effects, like black and white, convert the colors, focus it more and all the other different ways. I like to put effects because I think they look unique and it makes them look better. On the other hand, taking pictures might seem something with no sense to other people, but if they felt what I feel they would change their perspectives for completely. However, taking pictures has always a positive side and even though people might not think that taking pictures can turn into a passion, I hope with the things that I described, you can change your mind and see how beautiful taking pictures can be. However, I am just trying to explain everything about photography, but is just too hard to write about. I have so many things to say, but I don’t find the right words to say it. Although I am not a great photographer and I am not taking pictures all the time, I enjoy doing it. I hope you understand how much I like to take pictures. I am just trying to explain it the best I can, so my blog can be better and people can see how I really feel about all these things. Even though I am not that good at expressing my feelings, I would like to catch other people´s attention and to say why I enjoy doing all these activities. On the contrary, I just think that taking pictures is something that is easy to do and you just need to do it with your heart so even though is not a great picture people can see you did it with the heart.        These are pictures that were taken by other photographers.

         Golf is something that I really like and it is also one of my passions. Although is something that it might be boring sometimes, it is also be incredible. Every time I play golf I feel really happy because is something really calm and there not a lot of noise in the field, so I feel really peaceful. Also one of the things that I like the most is the view that you have. All the wholes have different views. All of them are full of trees green grass and you can see the beautiful sky and some parts have beautiful flowers of many colors. Besides in some places, from the golf course, you can see the most beautiful sunset you have ever seen. Moving on, most of the time when I go to the golf course, I practice in the driving range. For the ones that don’t know what a driving range is, I am going to describe it. The driving range is a place where you go to practice. In the driving range that I practice is like this: it has a rectangular shape and it is all cover with grass. It has two long, parallel ropes that go from one side of the driving range to the other. Between the two ropes there is a big space were you hit the ball. Behind one of the ropes there are metal things with the shape of the golf clubs, there you put your golf clubs and the basket of balls. Far away of the ropes there are little signs that indicate the distance from where you are hitting the ball to the location of the sign. At the very end there is a big, black cloth, so the balls don’t go any farther. Behind the driving range there is a big lake, with green trees around and ducks swimming inside. The lake is kind of green and the trees around it are very tall.  In the entrance of the driving range, next to the lake, there is a little place with benches, were you can rest or cover from the sun. The place is made out of wood and next to it there is a trash can. It is a very hot place, green and beautiful. However, all driving ranges are different, but still amazing.  Moving on, golf might seem boring, but it is something beautiful. In conclusion that is why I really like to play golf and why it had became my passion.
