Music is something that I hear every day. As every single person I listen to music. I love it, is just something that relaxes me and entertains me a lot. It takes me to another world and all the things that surround me doesn’t matter, the only thing that matter is the music. I just feel in another world in a peaceful world and this might sound silly, but sometimes I just feel that I am having dream and I just don’t want it to end. Moving on, today in class while we were discussing about voice when you write, they read something that one of my classmates wrote and it said that once his father had told him that every song is a story and every album is a book. I thought it was something really interesting. I never thought about that, so I thought it was going to be interesting to write in my blog. I totally agree with it because it is true that every song has a history, is just that we never have time to stop and think about that and putting all the songs together makes a book. However, I like to listen to every type of music except for heavy metal. Music is something that I couldn’t live without. Is just so addictive and makes me feel so much comfortable. Besides, I love the messages of some songs. For example there is a song in Spanish, which is called “lejos de aqui” and it tells you that if we don’t act now and try to solve all the problems that we have like global warming later on we are not going to be able to save the world and to stop it because is going to be too late. However, songs can also make you feel better, for example sometimes when I am sad and I hear a song it confronts me because of the lyrics. Besides, a song can express so many feelings. That is another thing that I like about music, it can express so many feelings at one time and sometimes the songs tell a little story that can change your perception about something or can change your feelings. Another thing that I love of music is the videos that they make for the songs. I don’t know why, but I just love how they turn the song into a video. That is pretty much what I can say and I could not be able to live without music at this point in my life.
This is a video that I really like. I love it because of how it is and how he draws himself in the piece of paper and since I really like to draw, I think is really cool. However, I also like the song and how they play the guitar and I like the rhythm that it has. The song is called Drive and the groups that sings it is called Incubus.
