Passions!

          I think that freedom of speech is one of the most important rights that everyone has. It can mean many different things to people and all depends on how you are. But for me, freedom of speech is the right to express yourself and to be free to say whatever you want and think what you believe to be true, but without hurting someone else. I think that expressing yourself without any consequences, is something great, but only if you are not hurting someone else. I think that, because if we didn’t have the right of freedom of speech we would all be in silence and nobody would give opinions and there would not be symbols for peace and things like that because those kinds of symbols express something. However, I thought that it was a really good idea from Ms. Rumford, to ask us what freedom of speech means to us because I would never had thought about it and now people is going to see what I think about it and hopefully give me their opinions. Another thing that I think about freedom of speech is that is a positive way of expressing yourself, but if you start harassing a person, that would be off the limits. I believe that because something is to say what you think and another thing is to hurt someone’s feelings.   So that is what I think about freedom of speech and I think that is always good to say what you want but in a polite way. However, freedom of speech relates to us as bloggers because we have the freedom to write about whatever we want and to express our feelings.
